The production of safe soap takes time and patience.
Our process takes many days, but the results are worth it. The soap we make on MayHill uses all natural and organic ingredients. After the initial processes, our soap is softly available to the wool and we are now ready to wrap the ball in many layers of washed and carded pure organic wool from our Icelandic Sheep, covering each fine layer of wool with fine inclusions of herbs, spices and botanicals. After a session of soapmaking, my hands smell sweetly of spices for days. It is a delightful process. We recommend you use the soap ball instead of a wash cloth for skin-softening luxury. The natural oils in the wool and the very softly scented herbs and spices add glowing vibrancy to the skin.
